Tanza, Cavite – January 31, 2025 — Students from Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. once again demonstrated their technical expertise as they actively participated in the Division Festival of Talents: Technolympics 2025, organized by the Department of Education (DepEd). Held at Tanza Trade National High School, the event brought together skilled student competitors from various schools across Cavite, showcasing talent in different technical and vocational fields.
Representing the school in two major categories — Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) and Technical Drafting — the students faced off against participants from 11 and 10 schools, respectively. The competition served as a valuable platform for them to exhibit their technical knowledge, precision, creativity, and real-world problem-solving abilities.
In Technical Drafting, Mark Anthony Ocila, a Grade 10 student under the guidance of Mr. Erhon Ibañez, secured 3rd place. Redinzor Sangiao, a Grade 9 student coached by Mr. Felix Villanueva, impressed the judges in the Electrical Installation and Maintenance category, earning 2nd place. Brian Hindac, a Grade 12 student, also proudly represented the school in the same event, further strengthening the school’s presence in the competition.
The school’s representatives were highly praised for their dedication, skills, and competitive spirit. Coaches expressed pride in how the students applied classroom knowledge in a high-pressure, real-world environment. “These competitions not only hone technical skills but also build confidence and professionalism. We’re proud to see our students rise to the challenge,” shared Mr. Felix Villanueva, EIM coach.
The school community congratulates all participants and their mentors for their remarkable achievements and looks forward to even greater success in future technical competitions.
