Adlas, Silang, Cavite – February 8, 2025 — Demonstrating academic excellence and a strong spirit of teamwork, Sisters of Mary School–Adlas, Inc. proudly participated in TAGISAN 2025, a prestigious competition held at the University of the Philippines. The event brought together 14 teams from top schools across Metro Manila and CALABARZON, all competing in a challenging intellectual showdown centered on Philippine media and its history.
The school fielded two teams, both of which delivered remarkable performances. Team 1 emerged as the overall Champion, showcasing exceptional knowledge, quick thinking, and sharp analytical skills throughout the competition. Team 2 also made a commendable showing, securing the position of 3rd Runner-Up (4th Place) amidst tough contenders.
Team 1 was composed of Raen Terrenz Domingo and Roland David Bargo, both from Grade 10, along with Carl Juzpher Obsum and Francis Mark Saludes from Grade 9. Meanwhile, Team 2 was represented by Johnlie De Pedro and Flobel Barredo from Grade 10, and Lian Carl Bandahala and Carl Oliver Ventura from Grade 9. Both teams were expertly guided by their coaches, Mr. Leomel Hernandez and Mr. John Paul Morales, whose mentorship played a key role in the students’ success.
This impressive achievement not only highlighted the students’ deep understanding of media history but also reflected their dedication, collaboration, and commitment to academic excellence. The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to both teams and their coaches for bringing pride and honor to the institution.
