On August 15, 1985, the Sisters of Mary Boystown and Girlstown opened in Bacood, Sta. Mesa, Manila, offering education from kindergarten to grade 3. On August 15, 1987, a new Girlstown and Boystown facility was inaugurated. On August 22, 1990, the program expanded to Talisay, Cebu, and later to Silang, Cavite, on July 23, 1991. On March 19, 1995, another Boystown opened in Minglanilla, Cebu. Nine years later, on March 16, 2004, the Boystown in Adlas, Silang, Cavite, was inaugurated. Currently, the Girlstowns and Boystowns in the Philippines are taking care of 9,358 students.
