Guidance and Counseling Program

The Guidance and Counseling Program of the school is a comprehensive initiative dedicated to supporting the holistic development of students. Through personalized counseling services, including individual and group sessions, the program addresses emotional, social, and academic growth. Overall, the Guidance and Counseling Program plays a pivotal role in creating a supportive and conducive learning atmosphere for all students at the Sisters of Mary School.

Homeroom Guidance Program

The homeroom guidance program is an integral component of the Philippine educational system, aiming to develop students' personalities to prepare them for their roles in the family, the world of work, and the community.

Typically led by the section or class adviser, the homeroom guidance period serves as a platform for implementing the Guidance programs of Guidance and Counseling Center (GCC). The initial minutes are devoted to class routines, including attendance checks, greetings, reminders, and informal discussions. This allows class advisers to understand the needs of the students and better support them. The homeroom guidance periods offer opportunities for students to engage in structured learning modules tailored to their needs. Additionally, these periods may serve as venues for team-building exercises and dialogues to address class concerns.
